Rolling Stone Women Shaping the Future Brunch

“There are no limitations to what you do due to your gender." (Grace Vanderwaal to Hollywood life)

It’s so hard to believe that the incredibly talented Grace VanderWaal is only 15! Grace brought the house down with her performance during the brunch. She belted Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie” and also sang one of her originals! She was so excited to be there, too. She adorably blurted out that she was missing school to be there. (Hollywood life)

To celebrate their inaugural “Women Shaping the Future” issue, Rolling Stone magazine "hosted an intimate event on Wednesday, March 20th, where contributing editor Alex Morris Kling spoke with Leana Wen, president of Planned Parenthood; TV host, journalist and philanthropist Tamron Hall; and Congresswoman Jahana Hayes. The event also featured special performances by Grammy-nominated artist Emily King as well as America’s Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal" (Rolling Stone March 21, 2019)

The event "... celebrated some of the most influential and passionate women in politics and entertainment. ... [it] brought together journalists, actresses, and singers. The attendees mingled, watched stunning performances, ... It was a day to remember! (Hollywood Life)
